LICENCED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
I provide remote individual therapy primarily for young professionals and children of immigrants in the Bay Area and California. I often think of an old saying: "Not all one pleads for can be granted, but a good hearing soothes the heart." When we feel heard and seen, we are soothed. I believe therapy can offer this.
Therapy is a partnership where we explore both the things you’re proud of and the things that may be harder to face. I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, racialized workplace trauma, emotional abuse, and family and relationship conflict.
As an anti-racist and feminist therapist, my approach is rooted in addressing power, inequality, and the impact of systems of oppression. I primarily use psychodynamic and relational approaches, focusing on the healing power of relationships. I also incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion techniques into our work. My background as a first-generation immigrant and improvisational theater actor informs my approach, bringing a sense of adaptability and creative problem-solving to our work together.
My goal is to help you transform how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you. Whether you're navigating cultural challenges, burnout, or relationship struggles, I’m here to support you in that journey.
